My name is Fabiana Pasquale, and I am a contemporary figurative painter.

Painting is the language through which I express my connection with nature, with animals, and with the energy I imagine linking all living beings.

Through my work, I try to create suspended atmospheres where humans, animals, and nature can coexist in a quiet sense of mutual belonging. I like to think of my paintings as discreet presences that invite viewers to slow down and make space for imagination, a place where one might find a moment of calm, contemplation, and a more intimate connection with oneself.

I was born in Puglia and have been living in Sardinia for several years. I began drawing as a child and first approached painting in 1998, through a course organized by my local parish. Since then, painting has accompanied me as a space for personal exploration and expression, but also as an inner place of refuge and listening, one that over time has required commitment, dedication, and consistency.

In 2020, during the pandemic, I found in painting a way to transform uncertainty and questions into images that could suggest a sense of hope and possibility.

Over the course of my artistic path, I have held a solo exhibition at the Auditorium in Trinitapoli and taken part in several group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including at the Dama Museum in Capua, the Live Expo in Rome and Milan, and the group exhibition “Egos” at the Royal Opera Arcade Gallery in London.

I received the Critics’ First Prize awarded by the Accademia di Santa Sara, where I was also granted an honorary Doctorate in Art. I have also taken part in several editions of the “Notti Sacre in Puglia” exhibition, receiving the Critics’ Prize.

Other recognitions include the “Giovani Promesse” award as part of the Casalarte exhibition in Puglia and a prize awarded during the event in ho or of San Ferdinando Re in San Ferdinando di Puglia.

Today I continue to develop my painting practice while also sharing my experience with students, accompanying them in their creative paths and seeking to pass on a sense of passion and respect for art as a form of expression and knowledge.
